To determine the abstraction level of the students who have already studied the theorems for the computation of the areas of various plane figures, this exercise provides a quick review using manipulative picture cards, name tags and formula tags for matching. The cards are all made of durable hard plastic and require no lamination. There are 8 picture cards for the geometric figures; triangle, rectangle, square, rhombus, trapezoid, hexagon, parallelogram and pentagon; 8 name tags to match the geometric figures and 8 formula tags showing the algebraic formulas. There are 24 pieces in all. The picture cards measure 4” x 2.75”. The name tags measure 2.75” x .75” and the formula tags measure 2.7” x 1”.
