Policies

Effective May 2009

Placing an Order:

When an order is placed, all orders are given an Albanesi Educational Center (AEC) Order Number. Please refer to it when you need to communicate with us about your order.

Shipping Time:

Typically orders are shipped within 3-5 business days of receiving your order. During the peak summer season, processing orders may take longer.

Payment Terms:

Orders must be accompanied by payment in full. Prices on our website and in our price list are in U.S. dollars. We accept payment by check, money order, PayPal, credit card or wire-transfer.

To receive your order at the earliest date possible, we suggest making your payment with PayPal or credit card. Orders paid by check will be held until payment clears the bank (typically 2-3 weeks).

Purchase Orders can only be accepted from public schools, government agencies and Charter Schools that can provide a verifiable Purchase Order from the purchasing department of their State Board of Education or Independent School District.

We expect payments to made within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Orders not paid within this time are subject to being sent to a collection agency. Collection agency fees will be added to the total amount due.

Returned Checks:

Checks returned due to non-sufficient funds (NSF) will incur a $35.00 fee.

Foreign Orders:

For prepayment of foreign orders only approved credit cards , PayPal or drafts drawn on U.S. banks will be honored. For customers outside the U.S., International Money Orders can only be accepted in U.S. currency. Inquire with us if you prefer to pay by Bank Wire Transfer.

International orders placed through our website require additional shipping charges that will be calculated by weight and must be approved by the customer prior to shipment.

Returns:

The following return options are available on all orders:

Within 30 days: A full AEC credit will be given if materials are returned unused, in their original packaging and in perfect resalable condition.

Within 30 days: For a cash-back refund, a 20% restocking fee will be applied. Materials returned must be unused, in their original packaging and in perfect resalable condition.

Returned materials which require extensive repackaging will incur a 20% restocking fee. Returned orders with missing materials, missing parts or damaged items are subject to additional fees based on the cost of replacement.

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs and insurance. C.O.D.’s will not be accepted and there is no credit given for materials returned without prior authorization by AEC.
No refunds or credits will be given after 30 days.

Claims:

All claims of shortages or damaged materials must be reported within 10 days of receipt of shipment. Please call for a return authorization number and instructions.

If merchandise is lost or damaged in shipment, please contact us immediately.

Prices:

Prices of materials are subject to change without notice. Pro Forma quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date of the quote.

Responsible Use:

Adult supervision is required on all materials.
Warning!!! Some materials may include small parts that may present a choking hazard for small children.

Terms and Conditions:

The terms and conditions are hereby agreed to by the buyer to be part of the buyer’s purchase order.
