Large Bead Frame / 009400

Description

Wooden self-standing frame with seven horizontal wires, each strung with ten beads in the appropriate hierarchical color. On the left side of the frame there is a white, grey and black strip to indicate the families of numbers. The bead frame retains the Montessori hierarchical color-coding and is abstractly related to the golden bead material. It is a larger version of the short bead frame, thus it is primarily used for larger multiplication problems.
