Description
Six outlined maps of the world are printed on cardstock. Each map shows the main land or water feature marked in red and numbered. Six accompanying charts with the corresponding numbered names of the land and water forms serve as control charts. Ten preprinted blank paper charts are also included. Students can use these printed maps to make their own charts. They may choose to study any of the land or water forms of the world by identifying the geographical places on an atlas; by coloring and numbering their own charts they duplicate the cardboard maps. The contrasting geographical features of the world considered in this work are: islands and lakes; peninsulas and gulfs; isthmuses and straits.
