Masculine and Feminine Exercises

Description

This laminated material is designed to present the concept of gender and the corresponding grammatical rules:

Ex #1: A matching exercise consisting of 20 beautiful, full-color picture cards (5 ½” x 5 ½”) with labels and a full-color, comb-bound Control Booklet.

Ex #2: A second matching exercise of 20 beautiful, full-color picture cards (5 ½” x 5 ½”) with labels and a full-color, comb-bound Control Booklet.

Ex #3: A matching exercise consisting of 20 labels (5 ½” x 1”) designed to present masculine words that form the feminine gender with the suffix – ess. Example: actor/actress.

Ex #4: A matching exercise consisting of 20 labels (5 ½” x 1”) designed to present masculine words that form the feminine gender by changing part of the masculine word. Example: stepfather/stepmother.

Ex #5: A matching exercise consisting of 20 labels (5 ½” x 1”) designed to present masculine words that form the feminine gender by using entirely different words. Example: lad/lass.

Ex #6: A matching exercise consisting of 30 labels (5 ½” x 1”) designed to present Common Gender Nouns that represent both the masculine and the feminine gender. Example: father/mother/parent.

These materials are coded to correspond to the Albanesi Preschool (PRE-L) and Junior Elementary (JE-L) Language Curriculum Programs.
