PERSONAL TIME LINE of the Child

Description

The Personal Time Line of the child requires the cooperation of the child’s parents who must provide pictures (a maximum of 12) with the approximate dates and descriptions. A student may be invited to do one personal time line for each year that he/she attends school. The Personal Time Line is an exercise of putting events of the child’s life in chronological order and writing short anecdotal paragraphs. Each day the child may be invited to place pictures on the time line and to write one or two thoughts about them. The year and month when the picture was taken should be emphasized on the time line. Each subsequent year, a child may wish to repeat the project with the same or different pictures.
