Description
Wooden box holding a set of 19 strips in natural wood and of different lengths. The strips serve to build number rods for different bases (from base 11 to base 16) and this material has to be combined with the Number Rods for the decimal system (GZ-.080) The two sets of material together are used for counting in 15 different bases, which leads to a clear understanding of the highest number of units in the different number systems as well as of the different “tens” involved. The rods are accompanied by a set of wooden cards with the numbers 1-9, A-F and 10, for the association of quantities and symbols.
